Modern Slavery Statement

Introduction

This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps that DCS Event Services has taken to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in our business or supply chains.

DCS Event Services is a UK-based logistics company providing event freight, exhibition logistics, career fair logistics, courier services, and storage solutions.

Our Commitment

DCS Event Services has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships, and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our business or supply chains.

Our Business and Supply Chains

Our business operates primarily within the United Kingdom, with some European operations. Our supply chains include:

• Haulage and transport subcontractors
• Vehicle maintenance and fleet suppliers
• Packing materials and equipment suppliers
• Technology and IT services providers

We work predominantly with UK-based suppliers and subcontractors, which reduces the risk of modern slavery within our supply chain. However, we remain vigilant and take steps to identify and mitigate any risks.

Policies

We maintain the following policies in relation to modern slavery:

• Recruitment policy — we only use reputable employment agencies and carry out right-to-work checks on all employees in accordance with UK law
• Supplier code of conduct — we expect all suppliers to operate ethically and in compliance with applicable employment laws
• Whistleblowing policy — we encourage the reporting of any concerns about modern slavery or unethical practices without fear of reprisal

Due Diligence

As part of our efforts to monitor and reduce the risk of modern slavery, we:

• Assess our supply chains to identify and address potential risks
• Include anti-slavery and human trafficking provisions in our contracts with suppliers
• Ensure all employees are paid at least the National Minimum Wage
• Carry out right-to-work checks on all new employees
• Provide training to relevant staff on identifying signs of modern slavery

Risk Assessment

We consider the risk of modern slavery within our direct operations to be low, given that we operate primarily in the UK with a small, directly employed team. We recognise that supply chain risks can be greater and continue to review and strengthen our supplier due diligence processes.

Training

We provide awareness training to our team to help them identify the signs of modern slavery and human trafficking, and to ensure they understand how to report any concerns.

This statement will be reviewed and updated annually. It has been approved by the senior management of DCS Event Services.
